6DR5120-0NG03-0AA0 is a SIPART PS2 smart electropneumatic positioner manufactured by Siemens. It supports 4…20mA analog signal and HART protocol for reliable communication in process automation systems. The unit features non-contacting wear-free position detection (NCS), which eliminates mechanical wear and extends service life. The enclosure is made of polycarbonate, designed for double-acting actuators, compatible with pneumatic linear and part-turn actuators.
This model comes without explosion protection. Electrical connection thread is M20x1.5, pneumatic connection thread is G 1/4. It does not include limit monitor, analog output module (AOM) and analog input module (AIM). Potentiometer-based internal position detection is not fitted, and it can be separately ordered with option -Z K11. M12 device plug is not available for this version. The isolating power supply SITRANS I100 (7NG4124-1AA00) needs to be ordered separately.
It supports fail-safe function that depressurizes the actuator when auxiliary electrical power fails (only for single acting actuators). Manometer block, venting gauge block and booster are not included. Brief operation instructions are supplied in English, German and Chinese. It is widely used to control valve stroke precisely in chemical, oil & gas, power and water treatment industries.
